Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher creates, smoothes, and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. We are currently seeking a Concrete Carpenter to join our team on a Tilt Up Builidng in the city of Camarillo. The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete on various construction sites. This position requires physical strength and stamina, as well as the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Mix and pour concrete according to specifications.
- Operate power tools such as jackhammers, drills, and saws.
- Lay out forms for pouring concrete.
- Smooth and finish concrete surfaces using trowels, floats, and other tools.
- Carry materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
- Assist in the installation of reinforcing steel bars or mesh.
- Clean up job sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
