Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher creates, smoothes, and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Responsibilities
- Work with concrete and cementitious materials to achieve desired finish appearance according to design specifications.
- Pour and apply various finishes on sidewalks, slabs, and bulk concrete pours, including broom finish, stamping and trowel finishes.
- Install reinforcing steel as needed.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and other construction professionals.
- Read and interpret blueprints and designs to ensure work aligns with specifications and building code recommendations.
- Represent the company professionally and support the company culture and vision at all times.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial concrete work.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Driving and towing experience preferred.
- CDL is a plus.
