Job Summary:
Coordinate requests for assistance in support of the Conference Home Visit procedure. Make necessary payments for services provided and maintain accurate records using the case management system. Conduct various financial bookkeeping procedures and assist with social media efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Field incoming requests for assistance, including emails, drop ins, direct calls, phone messages, or referrals.
- Utilize the ServWare (SW) case management system to document case from intake to closure.
- Conduct initial intake process, recording necessary information into ServWare.
- Assist Home Visitors in understanding specifics of SW and entering data.
- Assist in the coordination of the regular conference meetings.
- Maintain ServWare case files.
- Per Home Visitor Team instructions entered into ServWare, make payments or create store vouchers for services where appropriate.
- Coordinate assistance requests through pending status of SW completed vouchers for thrift store use and provide help through the Resource Center for neighbors.
- Assist with various bookkeeping responsibilities and social media posts and advertising on a periodic basis.
Requirements:
- Empathetic and supportive persona with solid phone skills and an ability to capture accurate information through conversations and input into computer system.
- Basic computer skills such as email, Excel, and Word.
- Bookkeeping acumen and social media experience a plus.
