About the Predictive Maintenance Technician position

We are looking for an experienced technician who will perform preventative maintenance, assist plant maintenance in defining, analyzing, and detecting PdM issues.

Technician responsibilities are:

• Perform predictive maintenance checks for plant equipment
  
• Perform vibration analysis
• Perform oil sampling
• Perform thermal imaging
• Perform other PdM techniques
• Any other task assigned

Technician requirements are:

Education:

• (Required) High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• (Required) Experience with PdM technologies in vibration analysis, oil sampling, thermal imaging, and other PdM techniques
• (Required) Advanced proficiency in mechanical knowledge of typical plant and building equipment such as compressors, fans, speed increaser and gear reducers
• (Required) Proficient in reading Mechanical print
• (Required) Must complete Hankook training in both mechanical and electrical education and attend advanced training for PdM lab equipment
• (Required) Must have strong reading comprehension, problem solving, critical and analytical thinking. Clear written and spoken communication, detailed oriented problem solver, clear judgement and decision making

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; to reach with hands and arms; and to talk and hear
• Mobility throughout the facility
• Working in warm temperatures with no air condition, working outside at times during cold weather
• Employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, walk, crouch or crawl
• Employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis
• Working at heights of 10 feet or greater, operating lifting devices, and entering confined spaces
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus
