Configuration Analysis Supervisor supervises the coordination and administration of configuration management activities. Monitors released engineering change data to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies. Being a Configuration Analysis Supervisor reviews change documentation so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Acts as an advisor to the configuration analysis team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Configuration Analysis Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Configuration Analysis Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Configuration Analysis Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Assumes the responsibility of being the highest ranking administrative person in charge of the facility when other higher ranking administrators are not in house.
- Assesses, evaluates, intervenes on inpatient wound care needs of patients.
- Assists in the monthly scheduling process as needed. Determines adequate staffing coverage on the nursing units is maintained to the best level possible by assessing the number and level of personnel needed to provide quality patient care. Adjusts staffing and assignments appropriately by calling in or sending home staff as deemed necessary.
- Other duties as needed.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently licensed in the state of Indiana as an RN. Maintains this licensure and provides any licensure renewals or changes to Human Resources.
- For the Wound Care Specialist role, a master’s degree in nursing and wound certification is required.
- Must possess Basic Life Support certification or obtain prior to providing direct patient care. Maintains BLS certification per hospital policy.
- Must possess and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or be willing to obtain within reasonable time frame after hire.
- Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, Emotional support (S.T.A.B.L.E.) certification is desirable but not required.
