As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will support all areas of the human resource systems to support business functions. This role will provide technical support, development, and ongoing maintenance of all aspects of our Workday system. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, HR Technology responsible for business process configuration report development, and system functionality, and be a steward of our system and data. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting Workday across all modules (e.g., Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Absence Management, Performance and Development, Succession Planning, Recruiting, and Advanced Compensation), including design and testing of enhancements and ongoing system maintenance.
• Participate in a cross-functional Agile team focused on the optimization of the end-to-end Recruiting life-cycle. Work directly with functional team members to understand their priorities and business requirements and collaborate to produce high-quality solutions
• Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday issues
• Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of Workday configurations and business process changes
• Create and maintain custom reports
• Research and respond to information inquiries and resolve /redirect/ escalate support requests as appropriate.
• Work closely with other system subject matter experts to ensure Workday HCM system data integrity, configurations, troubleshooting, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
• Establish appropriate auditing and monitoring of HR data to ensure system accuracy.
• Coordinate activity for new releases including education of functional teams
• Research and address data integrity issues and/or errors. Ensure a high level of data integrity is maintained and transactions are accurate.
• Proactively stay up to date on trends and developments within HR systems and technology, proactively providing ideas and information regarding best practices and trends. Work to enhance the capability of self and team.
• Support projects to streamline processes, eliminate non-value-added activities, and improve efficiency

Qualifications:

• 5 year experience in Workday, including 3 years configuring Workday across multiple modules
• Experience managing Workday projects/configurations
• Experience building and maintaining calculated fields in Workday
• Advanced Workday Report Writing experience
• A continuous improvement mindset and quality and process-orientated
• Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence
• Highly independent; can own & drive substantial, complex tracks of work
• Strong collaborator; can engage with partners and stakeholders across the company
• Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments and creating clarity out of ambiguity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Human Resources, or related business area is preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
