BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity for a Financial Analyst/Financial Analyst 2/Sr Financial Analyst in our southern area located in Jane Lew, WV.

• Support Pipeline Operations with monthly financial reporting, forecasting and cost tracking.
• Coordinate development of annual detailed budget for specific operation area through communications with key operational personnel and understanding of key business drivers.
• Serve as a finance resource for operational activities including purchase orders, payment of invoices, proper time charging and inventory.
• Support capital project life cycle within specific operational area including project set-up, cost tracking and coordination with accounting for project close.
• Require understanding of accounting rules related to capitalization, retirements and unitization.
• Require interacting with various key stakeholders including operations, engineering, corporate finance, accounting and business unit leadership.
• Assists in completing special projects as assigned.

Sr Financial Analyst
7 years of related experience 

• Knowledge of financial management and analysis; utility and/or relevant industry; accounting standards and practices.
• Skills: excellent leadership; organizational; interpersonal; verbal and written communication.
• Teaming, analytical and customer focus skills.
• Some expertise in consolidated financial planning and analysis; capital allocation; project financial analysis; M&A analysis; due diligence process; understanding of accounting, tax and financing principles.
• Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Aptitude for continuous learning.
  
  Education
  Bachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
  
  Preferred Degree
  Accounting, Business, or Finance
