Conservation Technician maintains the authenticity and overall appearance of art objects. Conducts analysis to determine appropriate method for cleaning and repairing objects. Being a Conservation Technician may require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Conservation Technician relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.     • Performs accuracy verifications on critical machinery to ensure machines are capable of producing parts to required specifications.
    • Performs all duties in a safe manner. Practices good housekeeping in work area.
    Qualifications:
    • High School diploma or GED.
    • 5 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment, or a two-year associate degree in technology plus 5 years of experience.
    • Licensed Electrician.
    • Experience in the following core areas: hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, PLC logic, CNC and pneumatics.
    • Experience with Allen Bradly RS500/RS5000, GE Series 9030, Koyo (Direct Soft 32), Eaton.
    • Must have a strong familiarity and knowledge of metal fabrication equipment and processes, to include operation of presses, shears, welding units and overhead cranes and hoisting systems.
    • Must have ability to comprehend complex internal documents such as bills of materials, blue prints, machine schematics, PLC logic diagrams, electrical diagrams and work orders.
    • Must have experience using electric, pneumatic, hand tools and forklifts.
    • Experience using pressure gauges and precision measuring instruments.
    • Must have demonstrated ability to rely upon experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals.
