Conservation Technician maintains the authenticity and overall appearance of art objects. Conducts analysis to determine appropriate method for cleaning and repairing objects. Being a Conservation Technician may require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Conservation Technician relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We are looking to hire a district technician! Job duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to working with landowners to establish conservation practices, assist them with state cost-share programs, field surveying, conservation practice design, follow-up & design check-out. Clerical work, basic communication skills and computer skills are required. Must have the ability and be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather and on uneven terrain. Applicant must have a valid driver's license, a high school diploma/GED and be able to pass a background check.
