As a Pre-Construction Coordinator at our commercial construction company in Weatherford, TX, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of construction projects. This multifaceted position involves various responsibilities related to project bidding, contractor contracts, project submittals, and subcontractor relations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in construction practices, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Pay Range: $21-$23 Per Hour.

Key Responsibilities:

Bidding Process Assistance:

• Assist in preparing and organizing bid documents for new construction projects.
• Issue subcontractor requests for bids.
• Track trade participation in upcoming bids by phone and email correspondence
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate and timely submission of bids.

Contract Creation:

• Aid in the creation and review of contractor contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.

Project Submittals:

• Process and manage project submittals to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to facilitate the submission and approval process.

Subcontractor Relations:

• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and communicate project expectations.

Communication Skills:

• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication between various project teams.

Technical Proficiency:

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook mail for project-related tasks and communication.
• Maintain a high level of proficiency in relevant software tools.

Self-Driven and Growth-Oriented:

• Take initiative in project-related tasks and proactively seek opportunities for professional growth within the commercial construction field.

Detail-Oriented:

• Execute tasks with precision and attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of project documentation.

Experience:

• Preferably have experience in the construction industry, demonstrating a sound understanding of construction processes.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a construction-related role is preferable.
