Purchasing Coordinator

Position Summary for Purchasing Coordinator:

Grace Procurement is looking for a motivated and hard-working individual who has the desire to learn. The Purchasing Coordinator will assist the Senior Director of Procurement with procuring FF&E and OS&E items within the limits of budget. This role also includes assisting and supporting the project construction teams with purchase orders and contract expediting. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in the areas of contracts, purchase orders and procurement.

Responsibilities for Purchasing Coordinator:

• Review specifications of items.
• Review the purchasing schedule.
• Load project specifications into ERP.
• Work with Senior Director of Procurement to create FF&E and Room Matrix.
• Request quotes and proposals.
• Review and enter quote information into ERP
• Create purchase orders.
• Obtain all necessary approvals for purchase orders before submitting to Account Payable for payment.
• Delivery tracking.
• Keep constant communication with Project Managers and Senior Director of Procurement.
• Handle change order requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Purchasing Coordinator:

• Two plus years’ experience working with contracts, purchase orders or procurement
• Two plus years’ experience working in the construction industry preferred
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to multitask.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
