Based in Norwalk, Ohio Lake Erie Construction Company installs guardrail, fence, signs and other highway safety upgrades throughout the State of Ohio. We have been in business since 1977. Responsibilities:

• Notify Ohio Utility Protection Service of worksites where company will be installing guardrail, fence and sign posts and foundations throughout Ohio.
• Communicate with General Superintendent to identify specific locations where underground activity will take place.
• Communicate with project foremen to identify potential conflicts or concerns.
• Document activities and discussions regarding requested utility locates and any damage to utilities before, during or after performing underground work.
• Determine if utilities are at fault, and whether locator has improperly located underground utilities.

Qualifications:

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels in a construction environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Documents required.
• Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities successfully.
• Bachelors Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Construction experience helpful, but not required.
