Job Brief: As a Project Manager, you will oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define project specifications.
· Negotiate contracts and obtain necessary permits.
· Plan and schedule construction operations, allocating resources effectively with attention to budgetary limitations.
· Supervise work and provide guidance as needed.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
· Communicate project status to stakeholders.
· Foster positive relationships with clients and subcontractors
· Continuously improve processes based on project reviews.
· Responsible for meeting team volume and margin goals.
Requirements and Skills:
· Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry. (Homes, businesses NOT other types of construction)
· In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
· Dedication to quality and health and safety standards.
· Proficiency with construction/project management software (Xactimate, Xactanalysis, Restoration Manager, Master Builder knowledge preferred)
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
· Leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret budgeting and financial reports.
· Valid driver license with no more than 3 driving infractions in the last 3 years.
· Reliable, insured vehicle at your disposal.
· Must pass post-offer drug screening (heroin, amphetamines, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine)
· Must pass post-offer background screening. Due to insurance contract requirements, candidates with felony convictions will not be considered. Any misdemeanor convictions must be discussed with Human Resource Director for contract compliance.
· Must reside in the Anchorage area.
