- To Create a Place Where Life Gets Better through inspecting the construction of our customers’ homes.
- Perform inspections near completion of each home to ensure work is being completed to Elliott Homes high quality standards.
- Work and communicate with superintendents through the closure of homes to ensure that all findings/deficiencies are completed, and the home is of Elliott Homes quality.
- Distribute and maintain reports of inspection findings.
- Notify superintendents of discrepancies where construction does not meet standards.
Meetings & Communication:- Participate in team daily huddles.
- Daily interactions with superintendents.
REQUIREMENTS:- A minimum of 3 years of related experience in the home building industry.
- Licensed home inspector preferred.
- Detailed oriented, able to be thorough and consistent. Work must be completed on the day it is scheduled.
- Able to drive to sites at all surrounding communities.
- Expert knowledge of local trades’ building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- A degree in Construction Management is preferred.
- Understands all facets of the construction process; ability to read and comprehend detailed construction blueprints, specifications, and detailed development drawings.
- Computer proficiency is required to complete quality inspection forms and review data.
