The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and safety compliance
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any design or construction issues
- Review and approve project budgets, schedules, and change orders
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection records
- Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficient in construction management software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints
