The Construction Manager III (CM III) plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects to ensure their successful execution. Reporting to the Site Manager or Project Manager, the CM III provides overall field leadership, administrative support, and technical supervision on assigned projects. With a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and financial success, the CM III collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

• Coordinate with contractors, owner’s representatives, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient site operations.
• Manage overall field manpower to ensure timely completion of project tasks.
• Communicate with Project Manager to execute projects on time and within budget, alerting to any cost overruns or potential issues.
• Ensure availability and management of tools, equipment, and materials necessary for construction activities.
• Champion the workface planning process, including work breakdown structure and schedule review.
• Identify critical construction items that may impact project schedules.
• Enforce adherence to project specifications and regulations, implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Coordinate subcontractor and direct hire activities to align with project goals.
• Strictly adhere to project lines of communication, escalating issues appropriately.

• Demonstrated success in leading merit labor, direct hire construction projects.
• Experience in leading multiple subcontractors on complex construction projects.
• Engagement with key construction labor management personnel.
• Ability to build rapport and positive relationships with on-site personnel.
• Ability to contribute as a member of a project leadership team.

Prior Project Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Oil, Gas, and Chemical (OGC) or Power Generation construction is required.
• Experience in Pulp & Paper, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical construction is an asset.
• Project experience ranging from $5M to $100M, with multiple projects involving significant subcontractor involvement.

Education:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
