We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling cabinets and other wooden fixtures according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and materials.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces to build cabinets and other wooden fixtures
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and knobs
- Hang doors and ensure proper alignment
- Install fixtures such as shelves or lighting elements
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians or plumbers, during remodeling projects
Skills:
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to assemble and build cabinets from scratch
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques for finishing cabinets
- Experience in door hanging and ensuring proper alignment
- Ability to install fixtures such as shelves or lighting elements
- Knowledge of remodeling processes and techniques
