    Position Summary

    The Director of Technology Systems Management (DTSM), acting as corporate technical liaison is responsible for identifying and facilitating implementation of improvements in all technology utilized by PBDC-Federal Group, with the goal of long-range infrastructure direction. The Liaison will serve as a subject matter expert with departments utilizing or implementing various applications, platforms and tools, and will facilitate communication and collaboration between the IT department and the PBDC Federal Group to ensure all departments are aligned to meet overall business goals. The Liaison represents the needs of the business customers to technical planning groups in IT, and, likewise, represents the needs of IT to the business customers. The qualified individual will have deep professional experience across a broad range of enterprise technologies and will remain current on emerging trends. As a professional, the DTSM is an expert in developing and executing strategy and delivering within agreed timetables.

    **Working closely with the business functions of the organization, the DTSM develops a solid understanding of how business operations function. The liaison then identifies improvement opportunities and defines technical requirements to help IT teams design hardware or software solutions.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    * Partner with members of the senior executive team to implement best practices within all information technology processes.

    * Communicate (as a representative of PBDC-Federal Group) with subcontracted IT services regarding company decisions regarding technology needs, implementation, and business requirements impacting services and processes necessary to provide them.

    * Participate in thought leadership, provide regular briefings describing and discussing industry trends related to the PBDC lines of business for the executive team and key stakeholders, and maintain a risk radar of how technology trends could potentially impact key sources of revenue.

    * Work closely with operating subsidiary personnel to develop a solid understanding of how business operations function.

    * Assist departments in assessing technology needs and solutions, implementing or improving selections based on an in-depth understanding of the corporate technology goals, plans, security limitations, and impact on the broader Federal Group infrastructure.

    * Maintain a trouble ticket log and present key metrics describing the impact of IT-related service issues, and serve as the single point of contact with contracted IT services regarding process improvement, problem-solving, and "all things" IT.

    * Handle inquiries from managers (not only executives) regarding technology questions, respecting protocol and seeking executive approval for purchases/budget items.

    * Attend meetings as needed and prepare presentations on relevant technology subjects.

    * Work in such a way as to maintain compliance with federal and state laws and, in particular, government contracting IT/security requirements.

    * Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies relevant to the various departments and divisions of the organization.

    * Track and trend software licenses, usage, compliance and complaints.

    * Work with IT personnel to coordinate technology services.

    * Monitor IT vendor contracts through vendor management software if not managed by contracted IT services.

    * Work with the IT Department to incorporate operational processes and technology needs into the enterprise mission planning and execution space.

    * Liaise with business and IT stakeholders and assist in providing business support by collating, analyzing, identifying trends and reporting on data regarding key service delivery business activities.

    * Identify improvement opportunities and define technical requirements to help IT teams design hardware or software solutions. Serve as a bridge linking the business community and IT to ensure the services IT provides align efficiently with the needs of the business.

    * Represent the needs of IT to the business user community, helping non-technical personnel to understand technology constraints and what to expect after new hardware or software is introduced.

    * Work closely with IT project teams to keep abreast of technology concerns, including the need for new or additional equipment, applications or infrastructure services, and then translate those concerns into information that makes sense to the department's business customers, based on expected effects or impacts to business functions.

    * Manage relationships to keep communication channels open between business personnel and IT staff members. Communicate regularly with internal customers at all levels, from hands-on personnel to the executives who rely on current and accurate data to make informed decisions.

    * Be approachable and willing to listen to business customer concerns with the services IT provides. Provide IT personnel with clear, concise and useful information about business users' technology experiences and needs.

    * Maintain a technology "risk radar" describing emerging technology trends and potential impact on PBDC lines of business.

    * Develop and present effective learning/educational information on technology topics such as AI, security, CMMC, Oracle, IT systems management.

    * Serve as a resource for executives and department heads for technology questions.

    * Prepare monthly reports for the executive team, advising of assessments completed, major issues addressed, and summaries of any requested technology or implementation assistance provided.

    * Special projects, as assigned.

    Education & Experience Requirements

    - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (or related category)

    - Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a professional level position in information technology

    - Minimum of 5 years of complex IT project management experience, PMP certification preferred

    - Systems Implementation experience

    - In-depth knowledge of CMMC

    - Experience in at least one of the following: Oracle, Salesforce, or Deltek

    - Strong communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
