Job Description
The Superintendent role is a senior management, leadership position where the Superintendent experience, knowledge and understanding of DirtWorks services is leveraged across multiple engagements to ensure high standards of quality, execution excellence and customer satisfaction are met. The Superintendent oversees the operations of multiple projects and job sites, from planning through completion. The Superintendent will be tasked with translating requirements, work order instructions and contract specifications into actionable tasks which are built into bids, quotes and project documentation used by DirtWorks team members in the field. There are few finance related tasks, but the Superintendent will help to manage labor, equipment, and material costs to maximize utilization and ensure compliance with contracted statements of work and Managed Service Agreement (MSA). The Superintendent will work in conjunction with the logistics coordinator with scheduling site visits, resource planning for future jobs, scheduling equipment needed for jobs and assisting with the logistics involved in equipment mobilization/demobilization and permitting. Site visits may involve meeting with clients and partners to collaborate on work progress and performance. Superintendent may work with Foreman and Project Managers on the job site to participate in kick-off meetings or job starts where a senior management representative can provide value.
