Construction Management Director oversees construction projects and operations to meet the organization's financial and growth objectives and fulfill client contractual requirements. Develops and implements quality, performance, and safety standards and procedures for operations. Being a Construction Management Director reviews and approves procurement of required material, equipment, subcontractors, and worker resources. Provides project updates and communicates with clients, contractors, governmental or regulatory officials, and other stakeholders. Additionally, Construction Management Director builds effective team capacity to plan and implement construction projects. Ensures all permits, licenses, or certifications required by regulatory authorities are obtained. Establishes and enforces safety protocols and procedures to provide safe job sites and minimize risk. Monitors costs and timelines and submits required progress reports to deliver projects on time and within budget. Implements best practice construction methods to improve efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes. Requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. Typically reports to senior management. The Construction Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Construction Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Benefits:

    Salary: 

    $215,000-$264,000

    • This position is eligible to participate in the Signode annual bonus program with a target of 25% of base salary.

    Summary

    The Sr. Director of Global Product Management is responsible for helping to lead our team in defining and delivering market-leading automated packaging equipment solutions. The Sr. Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the APT Platform, managing, and directing a team of global product managers to drive innovation and establish leading product and pricing strategies.

    Key Functions:

    • Manage and direct a team of global product managers, providing strategic guidance, coaching, and performance management.

    • Develop coherent global and regional product & channel strategies, roadmaps, and pricing models aligned with Signode's mission and vision.

    • Act as an opportunity champion, working closely with leadership, technology, and business teams to analyze, prioritize, and action strategic initiatives.

    • Analyze and understand our manufacturing network, defining an asset strategy that positions our automated packaging solutions for global competitive advantage. Lead build/buy/partner analyses.

    • Develop and execute consistent pricing strategies based on product value, performance, and competitive landscape, guiding all selling entities globally.

    • Continuously evaluate the competitive landscape and identify best-in-class offerings to ensure our automated packaging solutions create industry-leading differentiation and drive growth.

    • Marketing & Customer Engagement Center: Oversee our Roselle, IL-based Marketing and Customer Engagement Center teams to help develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and growth for our solutions.


    Essential Functions

    • Maintain an up-to-date business plan for the global product line, including financial expectations, competitive position, key opportunities, customer focus, and project priorities.

    • Execute channel strategy, including e-commerce, distribution vs. direct, and direct vs. regional Platform.

    • Develop annual product line strategy to support long range plan and budgeting.

    • Work with commercial teams to develop growth and market penetration plans based on a clear understanding of customer expectations, competitive positioning, and strategic business drivers.

    • Oversee Marketing functions to build brand strategy, implement external marketing, and manage promotional activities.

    • Participate in marketing material design, including product packaging design.

    • Maintain product master data definitions with SKU monitoring.

    • Understand the competitive position and value pricing models to maintain product profitability.

    • Operationally collaborate on product pricing and analysis to guide all selling entities in pricing strategy.

    • Drive for continuous improvement in product development, modifications, and innovation.

    • Foster an environment of teamwork; emphasizes the importance of internal collaboration to meet and exceed customers’ expectations.

    • Ensure collaborative, insightful, and efficient relationships with the Global Team.

    • Support the sales teams in customer interactions to collect product, service, and marketing campaign feedback.

    • Support ongoing product training of teams and provide technical support as needed.

    • Drive analysis and commercialization for identified new product development initiatives.

    • 25% /- domestic and international travel will be required.


    Position Qualifications

    Education: A bachelor’s degree is required (engineering, marketing, or business is a plus); a master’s degree in business administration, finance, or engineering is strongly preferred.

    Experience:

    • 10 years of product management or similar experience, preferably with an industrial business with similar customer base.

    • Ability to work within a matrixed structure and can get results in a cross-functional environment.

    • Familiarity with processes that drive margin optimization, including pricing strategy, VA/VE, PLS, etc.
