Clerk of Works
Job Description:
Janey Construction is looking for an experienced Clerk of the Works / Site Representative to join our Cape Cod team! You will be working 25-30 hours each week providing on-site support and collaborate with the project team members as part of Janey’s overall project management efforts. Position includes understanding of construction contract documents (including plans, specifications, and construction contract), daily reporting of all activities and interactions on the project site with logs and photos, tracking of materials and equipment on site, review of contractor change orders and monthly requisitions, participation in construction-phase meeting, and review/analysis of construction schedules, RFIs, proposal requests, and submittal documents.
Position requires constant communication, verbally and via email. The Site Representative is responsible for maintaining constant on-site access to the complete set of bid documents, complete set of approved submittals, and all up to date RFIs, and you will need to understand who is responsible for roles of authority and coordination.
