Construction Management Director oversees construction projects and operations to meet the organization's financial and growth objectives and fulfill client contractual requirements. Develops and implements quality, performance, and safety standards and procedures for operations. Being a Construction Management Director reviews and approves procurement of required material, equipment, subcontractors, and worker resources. Provides project updates and communicates with clients, contractors, governmental or regulatory officials, and other stakeholders. Additionally, Construction Management Director builds effective team capacity to plan and implement construction projects. Ensures all permits, licenses, or certifications required by regulatory authorities are obtained. Establishes and enforces safety protocols and procedures to provide safe job sites and minimize risk. Monitors costs and timelines and submits required progress reports to deliver projects on time and within budget. Implements best practice construction methods to improve efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes. Requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. Typically reports to senior management. The Construction Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Construction Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     We are a division of Ergon Construction Group, an Ergon, Inc. company. Our services include specialty trades (insulation, fireproofing, painting / coatings, scaffolding & heat tracing) in addition to our mechanical and civil capabilities.

    Position Overview :

    The Branch Administrative Assistant (BAA) role is an important position in the day-to-day branch function. The BAA position includes regular interaction with both customers and employees.

    We want all of these contacts to be a positive experience. These interactions need to be conducted in a helpful and professional manner.

    The BAA will assist with various tasks related to maintaining organization of branch records and branch bookkeeping. The BAA should strive to keep the branch leadership and whole team well informed.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities :

    • Promote ISO Services and keep our team in a positive light with the customer.
    • Assist our leaders with the efficient allocation of resources (people, materials, owned equip, rented equip, subcontractors) to all of jobs.
    • Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace.
    • Maintain filing system for records of all types (paper and digital storage methods).
    • Accept and direct branch telephone calls
    • Assist with organization of owned tools, equipment, safety supplies.
    • Assist with branch AP, credit card purchases, and customer invoicing as required.
    • Assist with development and distribution of reports as required.
    • Assist with timekeeping.
    • Assist with travel arrangements.
    • Continue to develop knowledge and experience with our construction accounting systems with the goal of increasing tasks performed in these areas.
    • BAA will perform any other tasks as directed by branch manager, or as directed by other managers / directors.
    • Prioritization and communication will be required when directed to perform multiple time sensitive tasks.
    • BAA should learn the inventory of products we both sell and rent. Be a resource for information on our products.
    • Assist with material sales and rent as needed.
    • Develop constructive relationships with co-workers throughout all of ISO Services.
    • Some travel may be required for initial training (Moss Point, MS / Holden, LA)

    Applicable Experience & Competencies :

    • Valid driver's license.
    • More than 2 years of either community college or related job accounting / bookkeeping experience
    • Computer skills to include : Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Weekend work will occasionally be required
    • Qualifications / certifications that would add value, but are not required :
    • Powerpoint, accounting software, bilingual is a plus

    Physical Requirements :

    • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
    • Must be physically able to walk branch yard and warehouse to assist with inventory.
