Job Description:

Ingerman Construction Management is seeking an experienced Lead Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ground-up multi-family wood frame construction and will be responsible for managing daily activities on the construction site. As the General Contractor's representative, the Lead Construction Superintendent will ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget while maintaining high quality standards and adhering to OSHA safety regulations. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee daily construction activities on the job site
• Represent the General Contractor and act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders
• Manage earthwork and utility contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of work
• Ensure project stays on schedule and within budget while maintaining high quality standards
• Enforce OSHA safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel
• Coordinate with project management team to address any issues or concerns that may arise during construction

Requirements

Job Summary

The Superintendent provides on-site coordination for all phases of Multi-Family construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and jobsite safety.

• Strong knowledge of earthwork and utilities installation
• Ability to coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Contractors sequencing
• Minimum of seven years’ experience of residential construction projects as the superintendent.
• High Quality standards 
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work well with the project team.
• Proficient with Procore project management software usage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction.
