Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager/Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by accurately estimating the costs and resources required for each project. Your expertise in construction estimating and cost control will contribute to the success of our projects.

Duties:

-Project Management

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required

- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes

- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

- Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers

- Provide recommendations on cost-saving measures without compromising quality

- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and timelines

- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and identify areas where cost control measures can be implemented

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator/Manager or similar role

- Proficient in project management principles

- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

- Strong negotiation skills

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
