The time is now! We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager with Federal government experience.
The PM will collaborate with multiple departments (including Estimating, Safety, QC, Field Ops, etc.) within the organization to ensure the project is abiding by the schedule and that safety and quality standards are being achieved every step of the way. The PM will manage the project(s) budget, schedule, sub-contractor relations, safety/quality programs, and ensure materials and equipment are procured and prepared.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and enforce project schedules using software such as MS Projects or P6.
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring all project finances including: budgets, projections, cost loaded schedules.
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate subcontractor work to ensure the project schedule is met.
- Contract administration including safety, subcontractor scheduling, material and equipment procurement.
- Leading our team through to understand private client and/or government documentation requirements.
- Understands construction sequencing Can conceptually build the project in its entirety and then go out and do it.
- Ensures all work is installed per the work plan document and that quality is met by utilizing the QCP.
- Effectively Conduct Owners meeting to ensure there is a complete understanding of the project and any current issues or outstanding questions.
- Preparing budgets and understands the “Blue folder” process.
- Writing and execute subcontracts and the scope of work, scope and price construction change orders while managing schedules, close outs, and job costs.
- Developing monthly progress reports to the customer and Monthly Risk Reports.
- Managing the submittal process.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Manager, Engineering, or related filed is preferred.
- 5 years construction project management experience is required
- 2-3 years federal government contracting experience is required
- CQM Certification, OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR / AED is highly desired.
- We expect our PM's to have a natural desire to coach and mentor their teams.
- Strong technical skills and computer skills are necessary to be successful in this role.
