Job Description

The position provides service for the design, build, close-out, and handover of Data Center construction and improvement projects. Constant communication is required with on-site General and Sub Contractors as well as with Client Management. This position is based in San Antonio, Texas, and will provide strategic and tactical delivery of data center projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of construction management including contract administration, schedule, project controls, and change order management
• Adherence to client Quality Assurance standards to ensure compliance to project requirements
• Participate in preconstruction and design efforts
• Obtain, maintain, and manage data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project related entities
• Coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities
• Lead in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses
• Provide construction management oversight of project logistics, organization, systems, and personnel resources
• Ensure project closeout to secure appropriate provisions for final project delivery to owner entities
• Provide all services and objectives for the application of Vanir’s quality services
• Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring of others

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
• Active/valid DoD or IC equivalent Top Secret security clearance or the immediate ability to obtain one (at a minimum) is required
• Prior Construction or QA/QC experience in the Data Center and/or critical 27/7 facilities sector is required
• Heavy MEP construction project experience highly preferred
• Served as a construction manager on large complex project or data center projects preferred
• Strong computer skills with the MS Suite of tools required, other construction software tools knowledge such as Prolog, Sure Track, and/or Primavera is preferred

Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $145,00-$160,000.
