Established renovation contractor is looking for an Construction Accounting Assistant candidate to join our amazing team! We are looking to add a friendly, team player that takes initiative and ownership. The right candidate will have solid Accounting experience; be willing to learn, be a great problem solver and is flexible with a constantly changing environment. We are looking to add someone that is personable, values accuracy, is a great addition to our team, and does well with time management.

Duties:

• Create Journal Entries to reclassify costs
• Credit Card Reconciliations
• Data entry
• Record and track payments
• Ensure accounts are current and accurate
• Maintain financial records and reports
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors
• Maintain historical records by filling documents
• Adheres to Internal Accounting Controls
• Assist the Accounting Manager with other projects/tasks
• Assist with other department duties as assigned

Skills Needed:

* Accounting Knowledge/Experience is required *

* Microsoft Office Suite experience is required *

* Experience in Construction is required *

* Ability to work well with Employees in various departments within the company

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following specific directions

* Be an effective communicator – with strong verbal and written communications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
