Job Description:

Plant Operator Assistant is responsible for assisting the plant operator and maintaining a water treatment plan a mine reclamation project near in Holden Village, a remote area on the north end of Lake Chelan in central Washington.

Typical duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in maintaining an equipment maintenance program
• Trouble shooting instrumentation and electrical equipment
• Calibrating instrumentation as need
• Assisting operators with laboratory sampling
• Assist Plant Operator in daily needs
• Forecast equipment and material needs
• Provide accurate reporting of plant and personnel daily operations
• Performs other duties as assigned

Schedule and Travel Requirements:

• Working schedule a rotation - 14 days on 14 days off.
• Boat rides from Fields Point Landing are provided.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting pay is $33.00-$35.00 per hour - DOE
• Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage available on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
• 401(k) match on eligible wages and available for eligible employees on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. IMCO offers 100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employee s eligible wages.
• Living accommodations, meals and laundry services are provided.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience working on remote jobsites or locations.
• Previous experience in plant operations, preferably water/wastewater treatment plants.
• Background in construction or operations.
• High emphasis on safety and safety protocol.
• Experience with heavy machinery.
• CESCEL, OSHA, WISHA, HAZWOPER, DOE training and certifications a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally.
• Fit-for-Work physical required.
