    Summary

    This position is responsible for generating leads by supporting the coverage strategy by qualifying leads, prospecting on assigned accounts, identified customer requirements, and offering the right solution to their needs, manage and serve walk-in customers at the assigned location. As a key member to the sales organization, the Sales Development Representative will focus on supporting sales and coverage goals for prime and product support. Being a champion of Customer Experience by sustaining our values and exceed customer expectations.

    Essential Functions

    • Ensure that the retail store environment is arranged and maintained in a manner that ensures productivity, safety and convenience for personnel and customers
    • Create and maintain accurate, readable shelf markings (product description, price and part number) for all products displayed
    • Create or install seasonal or other promotional displays to improve customer awareness of special orders and new products/ service
    • Oversee or perform housekeeping functions within the retail store environment to ensure that all stock, fixtures, and the area itself are clean, neat, and inviting to customers
    • Maintain and prominently display product literature and reference materials pertaining to retail merchandise and to other parts, machines and services provided by dealership; provide up-to-date information on all stocked/ available products
    • Update and qualify accounts employing a disciplined telephone campaign.
    • Work directly with sales and marketing to grow existing customer accounts, facilitate lead generation, establish sales relationships with prospects, and qualify leads generated through telemarketing and other indirect channels.
    • Maintain an active call cycle with consideration for a diverse customer base.
    • Maintain accurate customer account information and equipment population within a corporate CRM system.
    • Meet coverage requirements for walk in, assigned and prospect accounts
    • Promote dealer services including - but not limited to – construction equipment, rental, and parts and service.
    • Build customer satisfaction through meeting customer needs via a needs analysis process.
    • Establish customer relationships as a single point of contact.
    • Qualify leads, assign them to respective salesperson.
    • Quote and Close CCE opportunities for assigned accounts
    • Drive sales of product support solutions to assigned accounts, promote e commerce solutions
    • Maintain inventory at the assigned branch location.
    • Support and or close any walk-in attachment sales for assigned and prospect accounts.
    • Achieve personal development through goal setting and establishing objectives.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience

    • College or technical degree required.
    • Proven track record in equipment sales that demonstrates ability to consistently achieve and exceed goals.

    Computer Skills

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel, inventory/order processing software, and contact management systems.

    Language Skills

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
    • Ability to communicate in Spanish - Desired.

    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
