JOB OVERVIEW: 
The Senior Project Coordinator performs activities that keep our commercial construction projects running smoothly, and that help maintain profitability of those projects. The role serves as a vital link that connects key field-based personnel, and the company’s internal business systems.

Among other duties, the Senior Project Coordinator ensures that project information supplied by Project Managers is entered into the company’s enterprise software system timely, completely and accurately. This individual works closely with, and supports, the Project Manager and the Construction Manager to ensure that all information provided meets system requirements. The Senior Project Coordinator enters and disseminates project-specific needs and other information to all appropriate parties via the company’s system. Additionally, this person furnishes information about purchasing and payroll systems to the Project Manager and Construction Manager to assist them in keeping projects running smoothly and to help maintain project profitability.

The Senior Project Coordinator’s key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Effective written and oral communication skills.

• Highly self-motivated; works effectively with minimal supervision after on-the-job training.
• People-focused attitude with high level of professionalism and judgment.
• Able to work independently as needed, as well as in collaboration with the team. Interacts well with, and takes direction from, individuals with diverse backgrounds and personalities.
• Construction industry contract experience or knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in the flooring industry and related flooring product knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Experience using RFMS or similar flooring industry system is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED at a minimum
