As a CAD Technician, you will be part of a team that will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in Florida and across the country. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of plan production and design standards for agencies throughout northeast Florida. You will work under the direction of a licensed Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Provides technical support for assigned projects, using a computer as an aid to drafting and design.

• Completes detailed drawings from sketches, plans, specification, and written and verbal instructions using computer-aided drafting programs.

• Ability to set up complete engineering plan sets based on industry standards with minimal direction.

• Reviews all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting to Project Engineer or Project Manager for review.

• Revises or changes drawings, traces and/or copies existing drawings and completes calculations with specific instructions.

• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

• Maintains neat and orderly work area, which allows access to project information to other team members.

Qualifications:

• At least two (2) years Civil 3D experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
