College admissions senior consultants examine the strengths of a student and then recommend schools, extracurricular activities, and programs that utilize their talents and interests, in order to guide students on standing out amongst thousands of applicants and helping them achieve their admissions goals.
Additionally, the role will assist with preparing personal essays, supplemental essays, resume preparations, completing applications, interview preparation for students, and receiving letters of recommendation from teachers or other professionals.
This job role usually work with students and families as well as other consultants in the company; it also requires maintaining communications with admissions offices and updated with college admissions info. The candidate must be familiar with the college candidacy building and college application process. It requires a bachelor's degree in school counseling or a related field; alternatively more than 3 years of college and graduate programs admissions experience.
