Digital Analyst – FULL TIME – Charlottesville, VA
*This position is intended to be remote, with a preference for a candidate who can commute to Charlottesville, VA approximately once per-month as-needed.
SUMMARY:
The Digital Analyst at UVA Community Credit Union is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of technical systems in the Credit Union’s Digital department. In order to deliver the best possible digital experience for members and prospective members, the Credit Union leverages a wide array of software, and the Digital Analyst is responsible for technical administration of these systems and their integration points. The ideal candidate for this role is organized, detail-oriented, process-oriented, and appreciates the value of maintaining good documentation. The Digital Analyst possesses a thorough understanding of the various Credit Union systems, and how those systems are integrated. They maintain documentation of this understanding, identify opportunities for improvement, and support detailed design and scoping of new implementations. They manage small- to medium-sized projects like routine upgrades and bug fixes, and they execute day-to-day administration tasks including user management, configuration changes, and system testing. Some planned travel will be required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· System Administration: Perform configuration or settings changes for CU Digital platforms. On an ongoing basis, ensure that settings and configuration are aligned with CU policies and procedures. Perform user access management and audit processes for internal staff and members.
· Maintenance Delivery: Maintain documentation of CU Digital systems/components, current implemented versions, and associated maintenance/upgrade cadences and procedures. Ensure upgrades are requested in a timely manner. Work with vendors to implement patches and routine upgrades. Perform required testing, deployment readiness, and deployment activities.
· Issue Management: Provide inputs required for triage and investigation when Digital system issues rise above a moderate complexity level. Review and test bug fixes or patches prior to deployment to minimize risk of unanticipated consequences.
· Roadmap Support: Identify improvement opportunities for digital systems. Research and present solution approaches for implementing improvements. Participate in detailed design process of prioritized projects and lead implementation delivery (for small- and medium-sized projects) or collaborate with Project Management Office (for large projects).
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 4 years of experience managing/administrating technical or software systems in an enterprise setting
· Demonstrated skill in technical problem solving
· An advanced knowledge of MS Office, including use of web based portals
· Ability to use resources effectively and propose logical solutions
· Strong customer service skills
· Ability to work in a timely, organized fashion, with strong attention to detail
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Preference will be given to candidates with experience working at a financial institution
