Consumer Credit Manager supervises underwriting operations and oversees the loan application review process to determine loan eligibility and terms. Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the underwriting team to ensure that loan screening is conducted timely, accurately, and in compliance with all regulations. Being a Consumer Credit Manager provides loan options or product recommendations based on qualifications and keeps the team updated and informed of new products, regulations, or product changes. Assists customers through the loan process by researching and answering complex or unique customer inquiries, clarifying details, and coordinating with internal parties. Additionally, Consumer Credit Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Consumer Credit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Consumer Credit Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Consumer Loan Processor I

  • Cinfed is currently looking to hire on a Loan Processor I to our team here at Oakley Headquarters. The position will be M-F (9am-6pm) and rotating Saturdays (9a-5pm)
    Position Purpose:
    Responsible for coding, posting, and preparing all documents necessary for closing consumer loans including promotions for VISA and automobile loans. Mails loan paperwork distributes loans to branches, and coordinates closings with branch personnel. Types and handles miscellaneous paperwork including denial letters. Maintains files and answers and directs telephone calls. Provides professional service to members.
    Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
    • Assumes responsibility for providing effective secretarial and clerical support for all phases of loan processing activities and promotions.
    • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective and professional business relationships with members and external contacts.
    • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and communication with area personnel and management.
    • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
    Required Experience & Skills:
    • High school education or equivalent education is required
    • Must have a thorough understanding of financial services and products, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • At least 2-5 years of similar or related experience
