Consumer Credit Manager supervises underwriting operations and oversees the loan application review process to determine loan eligibility and terms. Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the underwriting team to ensure that loan screening is conducted timely, accurately, and in compliance with all regulations. Being a Consumer Credit Manager provides loan options or product recommendations based on qualifications and keeps the team updated and informed of new products, regulations, or product changes. Assists customers through the loan process by researching and answering complex or unique customer inquiries, clarifying details, and coordinating with internal parties. Additionally, Consumer Credit Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Consumer Credit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Consumer Credit Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     A Senior Business Loan Underwriter / Credit Analyst to join our team! As the Senior Business Loan Underwriter/ Credit Analyst you will provide clear and complete documentation and assist in the loan decision making process. You will provide analysis of the following: cash flow, collateral, management, balance sheet and income for all business loan types.  In this role, you will prepare credit presentations and credit memos for all loan types including, but not limited to investment CRE, owner occupied CRE, SBA, C&I, and USDA.  As the Senior Business Loan Underwriter / Credit Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing complex business credit and underwriting credit presentation with analysis and explanations to be presentable to credit decision makers with limited management assistance.

    As a Senior Business Loan Underwriter – Credit Analyst you will…

    • Responsible for credit analysis and loan underwriting of new and existing loan relationships for all business loan types (including SBA) and including complex deal structures and analysis.
    • Produce credit memos for loan modifications after approval, before funding and after loan closing and to address items in a complete and accurate manner, then obtain the proper approvals.
    • Responsible for keeping up to date on Annual Loan Reviews for assigned member loans.
    • Provide complete documentation to assist in the loan decision making process.
    • Perform detailed analysis on prospective business borrowers and guarantors and interpret the financial information to determine credit quality and cash flow adequacy for all business loan types (including SBA) and including complex deal structures and analysis.
    • Effectively and efficiently make decisions consistent with underwriting policies and procedures, including SBA Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Identify risk factors within each loan and utilize resources, tools and documentation to detect red flags and clear inconsistencies.
    • Assist in Loan Structure including Sources and Uses of funds for all business loan types (including SBA) and including complex deal structures and analysis.
    • Work with Business Loan Officers to ensure a complete credit presentation to best represent the credit to decisions makers.
    • Process loan requests and other data and reports in a timely manner. 
    • Provide business loan portfolio support as needed including help with troubled credits.
    •  Assist with creating and refining operating procedures for the Business Lending department that will improve timeliness and proficiency of underwriting.
    • Complete various projects as requested.

    Qualifications


    Our ideal candidate will bring to the team…

    • Four years of experience in the Business Credit and Underwriting field required, preferably in a financial institution.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associate’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job may be considered.

Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s prior experience and education level as it pertains to their role. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates, which allows us to offer merit-based salary increases.

    Minimum: $41.35
    Midpoint: $51.68
    Maximum: $62.02

     

    Your hours:

    A hybrid schedule Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm

    In your role you will have the ability to combine in-person and remote work.
