Consumer Credit Manager supervises underwriting operations and oversees the loan application review process to determine loan eligibility and terms. Coordinates the day-to-day activities of the underwriting team to ensure that loan screening is conducted timely, accurately, and in compliance with all regulations. Being a Consumer Credit Manager provides loan options or product recommendations based on qualifications and keeps the team updated and informed of new products, regulations, or product changes. Assists customers through the loan process by researching and answering complex or unique customer inquiries, clarifying details, and coordinating with internal parties. Additionally, Consumer Credit Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Consumer Credit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Consumer Credit Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Role Summary:
Gesa Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Small Business Administration (SBA) Relationship Manager to join our dynamic team. The SBA Relationship Manager reports to the SBA Sales Manager or SBA Lending Manager. The SBA Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for establishing, developing, and retaining customer relationships through referrals and business development. The RM will primarily market SBA loan guarantee programs such as 7(a), Express, SBA 504 and other government guarantee programs with emphasis on client contact and origination. This position will be a resource to the commercial team in each region to field SBA specific referrals.
Successful candidates in the role must be able to engage in conversations that are client focused, easy to understand and lead to a solution that solves the financial problems for clients. In this role, you will analyze, and financial data related to loan requests, including lines of credit, commercial real estate, working capital, equipment financing, loans for business start-ups, and business acquisitions, which typically would require a government guarantee.
