Consumer Lender – Craig, CO Branch

Yampa Valley Bank is searching for a Consumer Lender to join our expanding branch in Craig, Colorado – an off-the-beaten-path town with true Western spirit. The primary responsibility of the Consumer Lender position is managing, growing, and monitoring a consumer loan portfolio consisting of home equity loans and lines of credit, lot loans, bridge loans, overdraft lines of credit, vehicle loans, mobile home loans, and various other consumer products as well as bringing in new deposit customers. Our ideal lender is passionate about community involvement and will represent YVB at various community and bank functions.

$60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a lending environment is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related business field is preferred and encouraged but not required.
• Strong financial analysis and/or finance/accounting background and skills are preferred and encouraged but not required.
• Desire to pursue and complete credit/analysis training is required.
• Ability to pass a background check conducted by the FBI, and to obtain a NMLS number prior to originating any NMLS covered loans is required.
