Gathers information, analyzes credit history of loan applicants, and decides loans within lending authority based on established guidelines. Adheres to Credit Union policies and procedures to ensure ethical and compliant business practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience:
Two years of related experience and knowledge of Indirect Lending services, policies, and processes are required.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Interpersonal Skills:
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn the core system and other related software are required. Must demonstrate strong mathematical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Must have the ability to apply cognitive reasoning to daily tasks, take ownership, and work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Analyzing and comprehending complex information with the ability to disseminate information clearly and concisely to others are required. Must be highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and skillful with time management. Multitasking, practical application, and prioritizing and balancing multiple high-priority projects. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing the quality and accuracy of work performed.
