Consumer Loan Branch Manager oversees consumer loan activity in a branch with a small to mid-sized loan portfolio. Responsible for achieving loan gain and profit objectives as well as reducing the number of delinquent loans. Being a Consumer Loan Branch Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Branch Manager supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Consumer Loan Branch Manager typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. As a Customer Service Loan Specialist, you will work with customers to explain our offerings, as well as conduct outreach to customers who are overdue on loan payments, working with them to identify solutions. The Customer Service Loan Specialist supports the Branch Manager in creating a positive, supportive, and well-run office in the communities we serve. As a customer service Loan Specialist, you will be provided in-depth training to understand our products and how we are able to help our customers. Position Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone
- Receive and post loan payments in an efficient, friendly manner
- Contact customers who are overdue on loan payments; work with them to identify solutions for repayment
- Balance the cash drawer daily
- Make daily bank deposits
- Maintain compliance with Sun Loan Company policies and procedures
- Tax preparation support (if applicable)
- Network to attract new business
- Work closely with other team members and manager to reach branch goals
Position Requirements:
- One year customer service experience from any industry
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate a calculator
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm; Fridays 8:30-6pm and occasional Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm, additional hours may be required (No Sundays)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
