The primary function of the Branch Manager is to oversee the operation of all branches providing guidance and leadership to their team, ensuring adequate scheduling of staff to maintain appropriate service levels, and maintaining compliance to regulations, standards, and laws. The Branch Manager oversees the coaching and development of employees, to promote a sales and service culture while driving the financial services staff toward achieving strategic goals.

· Supervise, schedule, and direct the general activities of the Member Services employees.

· Works within industry laws and regulations and ensures the safety and soundness of the Credit Union in all transactions and interactions.

· Coach, train and develop employees.
· Track and Review Employee Performance Management.
· Foster a sales and service culture.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required:
· Two-year business degree or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, high school diploma or GED is required.
· Proficiency with computer software applications is required including MS Office Suite and lending and credit rating software.
· Position requires 7 years of experience in a bank or credit union environment in cash handling, member service, and/or consumer loan functions.
· Position requires 2 years of leadership experience in a financial institution.
· Professional, well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential for projecting a positive image as a Branch Manager at PVFCU with executive management, employees, members, sponsors, vendors, visitors, etc.
· The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.
· Work requires thorough knowledge of all credit union products and services, knowledge of external rules and regulations in cash-handling, deposit and lending products, including Bank Secrecy Act Laws, OFAC, FACT Act, etc. and experience with electronic delivery channels.
· Position requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, procedures, and regulations; ability to respond professionally to varied inquiries or complaints from members and vendors; and ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and present information to members and staff.
· Intermediate mathematical skill required (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages, interest) are required.
· Position requires the ability to work on a keyboard, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, and communicate orally and in writing with members, staff, management, vendors, etc.
· Ability to wear a headset if the position requires it.
· Ability to function as a Notary Public.
· Ability to meet NMLS requirements.
