Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor supervises a group of consumer loan collectors and assists in developing strategies to minimize collection portfolio loss. Consumer Loan Account Specialist
A well-known company in Pensacola is looking for a full-time Consumer Loan Account Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to be a part of a dynamic supportive working environment.
What you’ll be doing to make an impact:- Researches multiple resources to investigate the nature of the inquiry; analyzes/interprets account information;
- Resolves and adjusts account discrepancies, within authorized limits; calculates accrued loan interest; corrects/updates accounts in online systems; and coordinates account adjustments with Data Control and General Accounting
- Applies financial institution regulations and Navy Federal policies/procedures to ensure compliance with banking laws and regulations to minimize financial risk to the organization
- May participate in ad hoc projects
- Processes requests for loan adjustments, payment reversals, and miscellaneous account transactions
- Processes requests for recurring payments; determines requests are appropriate and funds are distributed to the correct accounts
- Researches entries, determines appropriate action, adjusts accounts, corrects errors, and notifies the appropriate areas
- Performs other related duties as assigned
What you’ll bring to the table:- Prior experience at a financial institution preferred but not required.
- Ability to process transactions with accuracy.
- Ability to work accurately and effectively with numbers and performing basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to interpret regulations, instructions, and procedures.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with PCs including word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications.
