Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor supervises a group of consumer loan collectors and assists in developing strategies to minimize collection portfolio loss. Assists in designing and administering collection processes, policies, and procedures, also supervises use of computerized collection systems. Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Sun Loan Company is currently looking for reliable, ambitious, and exceptional Customer Service Loan Specialists to join our dynamic team! Our ideal candidate is a positive, coachable, and dependable team-oriented individual who is driven to provide 5-star customer service in a professional, positive, and friendly manner.
As a Customer Service Loan Specialist, you will be the face of Sun Loan, interacting daily with our customers both in-person and over the phone. In our small team environment, each person plays an important role in the company's success, supporting customers within the community in problem-solving their financial needs.Job duties include:
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Assess customer's loan needs and provide valuable solutions.
- Process new loans and manage communication regarding account status.
- Execute collection calls on overdue accounts.
- Generate new sales leads through marketing and community networking.
- Other duties as assigned.
Must have availability to work:
- Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
- Fridays 8:30 am - 6:00 pm.
- Saturdays 8:30 am -12:30 pm (rotational basis related to office needs).
- Some overtime may be required.
- No Sundays!
