Consumer Loan Officer develops and services consumer loans. Interviews loan applicants to determine financing needs and to offer the appropriate loan products and repayment arrangements. Being a Consumer Loan Officer evaluates loan applications and applicant creditworthiness. Once a loan is approved and negotiated, monitors loan payments, and provides customer service to ensure the borrower's questions are answered and needs are met, and that the loan is repaid appropriately. Additionally, Consumer Loan Officer maintains accurate and thorough records, and follows all applicable organizational, state, and federal policies and regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Officer works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Provide internal and external customers support for the daily operational functions of deposit payment services in accordance with First Fed's policies, mission, and goals.
Essential Functions : * Effectively responds to routine inquiries received via multiple channels.* Assists customers and staff with ATM & Debit cards, including card reorders, limit increases, and PIN resets.
May process more complex side jobs such as ATM Balancing and ACH and Wire processing.* Deposit Payment Services Specialist III - Typically requires three (3) years of retail banking experience in an operations role and demonstrated ability to perform the job responsibilities of Deposit Operations Clerk I and II.
Regularly processes more complex side jobs such as processing Regulation E claims, and balancing ACH. Act as a resource to Deposit Payment Specialist I and II.
Provide initial training to Deposit Payment Services Specialist I. Handle first-step escalated calls. Provide back-up for the Deposit Payment Services Supervisor.
The work requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and others in person and on telephones. Work activities involve combinations of sitting / standing for extended periods.
Pay Range* The pay range for the Deposit Payment Specialist level I is $18.00 - $30.60 per hour* The typical hiring range for the Deposit Payment Specialist level I is min $18.
00 - $20.66 per hour* The pay range for the Deposit Payment Specialist level II is $ 19.44 - $33.05 per hour* The typical hiring range for the Deposit Payment Specialist level II is min $ 19.
44 - $22.31 per hour* The pay range for the Deposit Payment Specialist level III is $21.00 - $35.69 per hour* The typical hiring range for the Deposit Payment Specialist level III is min $21.
00 - $24.09 per hour* The incentive plan for this position is the Staff Support Incentive Plan. It is paid out quarterly with a 5% target payout.
