The Lawrence, Kansas facility is 236,000 square feet and home to about 155 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits®.

Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away.

The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams.

Responsibilities

Processing Operator

Starting rate : $26.10 per hour

EXCITING NEWS : Due to increasing customer demand, the Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS is transitioning to a 24 / 7 production schedule! Production team members will work :

• 12-hour shifts, either 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am (shifts do NOT rotate!)
• Work 3 days one week and 4 days the next week (either Tuesday - Thursday or Saturday - Monday with alternating Fridays)
• Shift premiums up to $1.50 per hour

Responsibilities

In the Processing Operator role, you will :

• Operate and maintain processing equipment to optimize efficiency and to reduce / eliminate downtime
• Perform accurate, timely collection of data and product samples
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or a GED
• Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability and willingness to communicate with cross functional teams
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred
