Who You Are
The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for the preparation and documentation for post-closing activities related to consumer loans for Home Equity, lines of credit and installment loans.
Your Role
1. Create and deliver accurate loan documentation in a timely manner while ensuring that the final package correctly incorporates the terms of the credit approval document, as well as internal and regulatory credit and policy standards.
2. Provide accurate boarding data information to the Loan Operations Group to ensure the integrity of our loan accounting system.
3. Post close all consumer loans including completing post-closing checklists, preparing and sending completed documentation and post-closing correspondence to customer, preparing tickets, cashier’s checks and wire transfer forms
4. Reviews necessary documents, such as title searches and / or UCC’s to ensure BOAA’s security position for collateral and repayment.
5. Completes follow up work to ensure the perfection of BOAA’s collateral position, including sending in mortgages and the necessary payments.
6. Looks regularly at reporting of paid off loans to ensure that the necessary steps are taken to release collateral and return documentation to the borrower within stated regulatory guidelines.
7. Complete the Consumer Loan Formula report on a weekly basis, or more often depending on changing market conditions.
8. Monitor the status of hazard insurance on all consumer loans, which will require frequent communication with agencies and the borrower to ensure that the Bank’s collateral position is properly protected. If necessary, this individual will have to work to issue the necessary paperwork to force place insurance if the client is not responsive.
9. Monitor past due consumer loans; working with Loan Officers and contacting clients as necessary to collect payments.
10. Work with the VP Consumer Loans to monitor changes in FEMA flood plains and administer changes to flood certificates for commercial, consumer and residential loans. Review, add and remove Flood insurance when necessary.
11. Responsible for the consumer loans in the director scanning system.
12. Preparation of committee minutes for consumer and residential mortgage loans.
13. Perform subordination agreement documentation, any BOAA consumer loans

This is a full-time position, onsite. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday.
