Being a Consumer Loan Processor verifies all documentation for accuracy and completeness. Tracks and monitors due dates. Additionally, Consumer Loan Processor ensures all documents are prepared and finalized in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures. Inputs and maintains all required transaction and processing records according to procedures. Responds to inquiries. Prepares required regulatory reporting. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Consumer Loan Processor works under moderate supervision. Role Overview
A Special Loan Processor is Responsible for restructuring large and very complex problem commercial and commercial real estate loans. Independently analyzes loans and determines the most effective strategy to secure repayment and/or collection of the debt. Negotiates with debtors or their representatives to secure repayment agreements and monitors adherence to terms of repayment agreements. Provides technical advice and assistance to lenders regarding the early identification and evaluation of deteriorating commercial real estate loan situations to minimize losses and maximize recoveries. Maintains current knowledge of all laws, regulations, and rulings concerning insolvency, bankruptcy, etc.
