Position Summary:

The Loan Processor will be responsible for processing loan contract packages to ensure each file is accurate and complete prior to funding by performing the following duties.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews contract documents to ensure conformity for Irving City Employees FCU (ICEFCU) policies and ensures they are submitted accurately.
• Closely inspects loan package documentation for suspicious or fraudulent documentation.
• Performs financial calculations such as income, payoffs, rebates and cancellation quotes, verification of employment, vehicle registration, driver’s license, residence, and insurance coverage.
• Conducts member interview to validate information contained in the loan documents.
• Back up Loan Officer with maintaining pending loans and title work.
• Release electronic loan titles.
• Informs manager of discrepancies in contract package or verification of information and notates the file.
• Maintain confidentiality when accessing personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
• Audit loan documents.
• Manage insurance worklist, contact agent or members to update insurance information and process insurance mail for new policy, renewals, and cancellation.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Entry level - no experience as a Loan Processor, or a similar position.

Education:

• High school diploma and or/GED.

Skills Required:

• Ability to obtain knowledge of loan processing procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
• Efficient analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to Irving Tx

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
