Quality Assurance Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for our Processing Center. The Quality Assurance Manager with specific experience working with the USDA agency to fulfill USDA regulations will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards for quality, safety, and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program that meets all USDA regulations.
- Monitor all aspects of the processing center operations to ensure that products are produced to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain processes for incoming raw materials and finished products.
- Ensure that all ingredients and products are handled and stored properly to maintain their quality and safety.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective actions to address any issues that arise.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on quality assurance standards, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure that all documentation, records, and reports are accurate, complete, and maintained in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain the Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification program.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualification:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science or a related field is required. Additional education can be in lieu of experience.
- 2 years of experience in the food processing industry, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Proven experience working with USDA regulations and inspections, and implementing and maintaining the Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to interact with various stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Bilingual: English / Mandarin preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.
Working Conditions:
This job is performed in a production environment that may have exposure to heat, noise, and other environmental factors associated with food production.

Salary:
The pay range for this job is between $80,000 and $110,000 per year. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) the responsibilities of the job, your education, skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
