    The National Quality Assurance Manager is responsible to develop, implement, and optimize all processes for the US RDCs, ConDC, and the DC Hub. They are accountable to meet all defined national Parts Logistics Quality (KPI) /cost targets, ensure training compliance, and achieve the highest level of process evolution, standardization, and integrity within the Parts Logistics network. They will organize, plan, monitor, and provide frequent on-site oversight at all facilities in order to achieve the highest level of performance while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

    RDC and Vendor Scope:

    • Ensure all Parts Logistics (PL) facilities operate a safe working environment and are compliant with all BMWNA, Federal, State, and Local policies and regulations.
    • Establish processes that Safeguard all BMW assets, inventory, and personnel.
    • Guide and direct the Quality Managers in all PL facilities.
    • Responsible for managing the PL Quality Program (LEAP), the development and implementation of medium and long-range strategies that focus on improving facility Quality, Process Compliance and Efficiency.
    • Evaluate, develop, and continuously improve the parts flow and processing procedures, etc., at all PL facilities to meet or exceed the quality objectives of all US PL facilities. (Shared responsibility)
    • Lead/Manage all PL facility teams in the development and implementation of all quality system enhancements, including implementation of all new technology and integration into the LEAP framework.
    • Lead PL facility Teams on all matters related to Process, Quality, and IT (shared responsibility).
    • Lead PL facility Management Teams and project manage/develop all new PL facility processes in the US PL network.
    • Provide business case, analysis, continuous improvement workshops and implementation training for all processes. (Shared responsibility)
    • Act as the single point of contact for all inquiries, projects, and day-to-day activities that affect quality, IT, LEAP, ISO and safety at all PL facilities.
    • Establish and enhance standard processes and best practices for all US PL facilities. (Shared responsibility)
    • Represent and communicate PL facility related issues to all internal BMW departments. (Shared responsibility)
    • Perform quarterly, on-site, PL facility process audits and Continuous Improvement Workshops. This includes but is not limited to ISO certification, LEAP and AQ audits, quality training and process certification recertification training and best practice implementation.
    • Perform Dealer and Internal CIP workshops. Implement and manage Lean projects. (Shared responsibility)

    System and Financial Scope:

    • Ensure all hardware opportunities are examined and implemented, when possible, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and maximum production.
    • Provide guidance as system “super user” to ensure standardization and single point of contact for the IT groups for the PL facilities.
    • Manage BMW PL facility Systems Analyst including project assignments and data requests.
    • Liaison with C4-US-A-33 on all LEAP related projects, level enhancements and program changes. (Shared responsibility)

    The pay range for this role is: $119,560.00 - $140,659.00.

    The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred or related work experience
    • 10 years of process development, analysis, or parts logistics
    • 10 years Quality Management System experience
    • 10 years Direct/Indirect Team leading experience

    • OEM experience preferred
    • Proficient in data analysis, process development and analysis, and logistics
    • High level project management experience
