Consumer Loan Servicing Clerk performs routine loan servicing administrative tasks. Processes payments, disbursements, changes, and other transactions. Being a Consumer Loan Servicing Clerk verifies the completeness and accuracy of documents. Performs calculations for distributions. Additionally, Consumer Loan Servicing Clerk monitors escrow payments and tracks delinquencies. Researches customer and internal inquiries and delivers a response or solution. Maintains required electronic files and system inputs. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Consumer Loan Servicing Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. LOAN SERVICING SPECIALIST
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Location: 119 N. Cushman Street (Fairbanks, AK)
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE
JOB OVERVIEW This position performs a variety of duties related to servicing of Mortgage, Consumer, Construction, and Commercial loans. Duties also include contract collections and/or insurance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in loan servicing/processing, banking and/or a professional office setting required. Insurance experience preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with computer programs and common office equipment.
- Ability to accurately and consistently apply knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to loan servicing.
- Must have attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
